Since 2021, the Iwate Tohoku Medical Megabank has conducted a third health survey of community-dwellers who participated in the TMM Community-based Cohort Study (TMM CommCohort Study) from 2013 to 2015.

Iwate Tohoku Medical Megabank has established satellite offices as bases of operations in the coastal region of Iwate. We support the creation of healthy municipalities by coordinating with various organizations, such as Prefectural government and medical associations, and endeavor to enhance community-based medicine. We provide health counseling services and advice on preventing illness. Iwate Tohoku Medical Megabank is working to alleviate the health concerns of all affected residents.
